Roller Maze

So I know story behind these dolls is a sport Monster High calls roller maze, but since they were announced all I could think of was roller derby and that meant I had to have them!

Ghoulia and Operetta were must haves and were perfect right out the box. Lagoon I rather liked and Frankie I was on the fence about at first, but with a little bit of help I'm loving them too!

Lagoona has a great outfit but as often happens her curls were a bit sad. I never straighten a curly dolls hair so I revitalized her lose curls with drinking straws for rollers and hot but not boiling water. I think she looks more like herself now! Also opted to leave the cute little pigtails in front of her helmet in Farrah Fawcett style wings, not sure what Mattel had intended with those.

Frankie was just a little bland for me. I pilfered a few accessories I had laying around (can you spot where they all came from) and cut into her hair a bit for make it a little more new wave, now i think she's holding her own! (Currently carrying this line in the shop too!)

Plans for a custom rival team are also in motion!
