Candy Violet got it's start in 2005, it was the 2nd Vivcore label to launch and was in many ways very different from the bright colors of our other label

For a while I had been interested in the Lolita street style in Japan, and how it fit in with my search to redefine my English roots. All over the world young designers are looking to their countries past for inspiration for their present, and as an English girl in love with tea parties and traditions I realized I was no different.

I felt it was time for the people in love with this style here in the West to have a label made just for them, and Candy Violet is that label.

There are some influences from Japan, but it's not a pale copy. My inspiration for Candy Violet comes directly from my experiences growing up in England, and the fairy tales, costumes and palaces I loved as a girl.
